From September to October 2019, Yunnan University organized a team of 13 school management administrators to go to Washington and Los Angeles to conduct Benchmarking International Talents-Disciplines-Scientific Research Promote “Double-first-class” School Management Training Program. The training contents divided into two major modules: an overview of the US higher education system and an introduction to California's higher education teaching technology; introduction of the school and department governance system in the US and the experience in internationalization of higher education.
　　During the training, trainees learned a brief analysis of the American higher education system and development characteristics, an overview of online teaching technology in American higher education, the application of new teaching technologies in American universities in the digital age, the creation of an open learning environment in American higher education, how to inspire and cultivate students' scientific and technological innovation thinking and ability, people-oriented——the construction and management mechanism of American university teachers, and the development and construction of the evaluation system for the learning effect of American college students. They also joined the visits to several educational institutions, including UCLA Science Multi-Leadership Center, University of California School of Public Policy, California State University Long Beach, U.S. Board of Education, American University, and George Mason University to learn about the advanced U.S. talents, disciplines, and scientific research to promote the "double-class" campus management experience.
　　Early this year, from July to August, Yunnan University organized the training program for the youth teachers too. They go to San Francisco and Boston to have the “Cooperative Teaching” Model Accelerates the Achievements Transformation of Characteristic Disciplines Training Program.
